Most trains arrive at Munich Central Station (Hauptbahnhof / Hbf); some also stop at Munich-Pasing (Munich’s western station).

From either station, you can easily take the S6 Train/S-Bahn line toward Tutzing (or Starnberg).

1. Departure from Munich Hbf: Head to the underground S-Bahn platforms within the main station building.

2. Take the S-Bahn: Board the S6 S-Bahn line toward Starnberg or Tutzing.

3. The Journey: S-Bahn trains typically run every 20 minutes. Simply stay on the S6 line until you reach your destination.

4. Arrival: Disembark at the “Planegg” stop. From there, you are already at the upper end of the town’s main shopping street. Walk toward the town center (Bahnhofstraße) and continue along this street for approximately 500 meters until you reach Gumstraße (on your left). Turn onto Gumstraße and stay on the left side of the street. After about 150 meters, you will reach Hotel Asemann.
